A Message From Our Pastor
Welcome to Sarasota First Church of the Nazarene! I'm excited that you are here to worship with us today. Our prayer as a church, is that you will sense the presence of the Holy Spirit and feel the love of Christ through fellowship with us. We believe in the transforming power of God and invite you to experience all that He has for those that seek to serve and worship Him. Thanks again for choosing to be here today, may the Lord richly bless you in spirit!

This Week at a GlanceRevival/Renewal Begins today and will continue through Wednesday. Our evangelist is Rev. Tom Todd, come out and join us Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening at 7 pm, to continue receiving the important message of renewing our spirit for God's glory! Tonight, Manna Ministries will go on as scheduled and Rev. Tom Todd will be speaking; please come out and support Manna Ministries.
Calendars The Family Life Committee is selling calendar & pen sets with the church logo on them, for $5 each. You may purchase one in the lobby today.
Wednesday Night Bible Study Please note we will not have a Bible study the next two Wednesday evenings. This Wednesday night, we will hold a revival/renewal service, and the following Wednesday is the night before Thanksgiving. Regular Wednesday night services will resume on Nov. 28th.
Children's Ministry Please note, that there is no children's church today or the next couple of Wednesday evenings. However, we will still have children's church on Sundays, Nov. 18th & Nov. 25th, and on Wednesday, Nov. 28th.
Manna Ministry We need men's socks and plastic supermarket bags.
Worship Team Do you have a musical talent? If so, please contact John Bradford at the church office, since soloists are needed for special music. Also, there will be open auditions for anyone wishing to join the worship team.
Church Decorating The last Friday in November, (11/30/07) at 6:30pm, we will have a pot-luck / Christmas Decorating party. Everyone is asked to come out and help dress the church for Christmas.
Family Christmas Tree Trimming Service On Sunday, December 2nd, we will have a Christmas tree trimming service. We are asking you to please bring an ornament from your family to hang on our Christmas Tree, and to testify to God's amazing grace on you this year.
Prime Time Events A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board in the foyer for the Living Christmas Tree at Bradenton First Church of the Nazarene. The van will depart at 5:00 pm, on Friday, December 14th. The production begins at 7:00 pm. The cost is $7 per person (plus gas for the van). Please see John Coate for details. Remember to mark Jan. 11, 2008 & Jan. 24, 2008 on your calendars. Those are the respective dates for District Prime Time Day (in Sebring) & the Gaither Homecoming (in Estero).
First Church of the Nazarene Prison Fellowship Ministries is looking for volunteers. We need volunteers to write to prisoners, in essence, a letter and/or card is like visiting them and sharing Jesus with them. We are also in need of donations. If you want to get involved, contact Tony Chin at holyground20002000a@yahoo.com.
The Men's Breakfast on Wednesdays 8 am has moved to Dutch Heritage Rest.
